Summary of a new Government

David Cameron began on 11 May 2010 when Cameron was selected as a PR (Prime Minister) of the United Kingdom. He is the leader of Conservatives. The Labour was in power since the Second World War in 1945, this is the first time in the history of 65 years that Conservatives made up a Government with the coalition of Liberal democrats. The Conservatives are in the favour of free markets, low taxation and privatization. In the general election the Conservatives won by 36% of votes, Liberal Democrats 23% and the Labour 29%. There are 650 seats in the British parliament in which Conservative won 306, Labour 258 and Democrats 57. It happened first time in the history that there was no one majority in election. Many British people agree that the electoral system in unfair and the Democrats stake on that as well.
